U-19 World Cup: Siddhesh Veer to Replace Injured Divyansh Joshi

Indian all-round Divyansh Joshi has been ruled out of the Under-19 World Cup due to a shoulder injury. Siddhesh Veer will replace him. Divyansh suffered a right shoulder injury while fielding in the first match of the ODI series against hosts South Africa. Siddhesh is also an all-rounder and plays domestic cricket for Maharashtra.

Siddhesh batted well against South Africa in the final of the four-nation Under-19 series on Thursday. He scored 48 runs off 37 balls in the last few overs of the Indian innings. At the same time, this player also took a wicket in the match. In this series of four countries, apart from India, the Under-19 teams of Zimbabwe, New Zealand and South Africa were included. India won all three matches played in the series. The Under-19 World Cup will start from 17 January and will run till 9 February. India's first match will be against Sri Lanka on 19 January.
