India becomes first team to hit four consecutive double centuries in test matches. Mayank Agarwal started the Indian team scoring double centuries in Test Matches from Visakhapatnam. Mayank Agarwal had scored 215 runs at Vizag. After this, captain Virat Kohli played an unbeaten 254 against South Africa in Pune. At the same time, in the last match of this series, Rohit Sharma hit a double century in Ranchi, which was his first double century in Tests.

Mayank Agarwal was out for 243 runs in the Indore Test match. However, before this, a world record was made by the Indian team.
