Bangladesh cricket team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is currently running out of the team due to being banned. Talking to cricket expert Harsha Bhogle, Shakib picked his favorite IPL playing XI. In his team, he included the same players with whom he has played.
Talking with Harsha Bhogle, Shakib spoke on many aspects of the game including the 2019 World Cup, his ban, and IPL experience. During this chat, Harsha Bhogle asked him to choose his favorite IPL XI team. On choosing this team, Shakib said that he had a lot of difficulties and left some great players. However, he selected eleven players including the team of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. He picked Gautam Gambhir as the captain of his team. Shakib selected David Warner and Robin Uthappa as opener batsmen in his team. At the same time, former KKR captain Gautam Gambhir was placed at number three. He placed Manish Pandey of Sunrisers Hyderabad at fourth place, while he placed himself in 5th position. Yusuf Pathan, who played for both Hyderabad and Kolkata teams, was placed at the sixth position.
