Hungary and Serbia advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIBA Women's Eurobasket 2019 from Groups C and D at Sunday's matches.

Last matches of the group stage were held in Serbia and Latvia, which chose the groups that will continue directly to battle for the continental trophy in quarterfinals.

In spite of the fact that Turkey beat Hungary 59-58, the losing group kept its driving position in Group C with two wins.

Italy facilitated past Slovenia by 75-57 to complete second in Group C.

Russia's triumph over Belarus by 76-62 was sufficient for the group to remain in the race for the knockouts.

Serbia's success over the world's fourth-positioned group Belgium by 70-66 helped the home group to top Group D and qualify to quarter-finals.

Jelena Brooks scored a three-pointer in the last second from the center of the court for Serbia to seal the triumph.

On Tuesday, Italy will confront Russia, while Belgium will play against Slovenia. Turkey and Belarus is dispensed with.
