Great Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar has been inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame alongside South African pace legend Allan Donald.

Joining Tendulkar and Donald in the Hall of Fame was two-time World Cup-winning Australian woman cricketer Cathryn Fitzpatrick.

"It's a huge honour for me,"  Tendulkar said at the induction function held here on Sunday night.

Different Indians on the list are Bishan Singh Bedi (2009), Sunil Gavaskar (2009), Kapil Dev (2009), Anil Kumble (2015), Rahul Dravid (2018) – figures inside sections demonstrate the year of induction.

The 46-year-old previous right-hand batsman is viewed as the best to have made the showing alongside Sir Donald Bradman and remains the top run-gatherer in the two Tests and ODIs.

He has 34,357 runs crosswise over configurations and is the only batsman to have 100 internationals hundreds added to his repertoire.

The 52-year-old Donald is probably the best bowler to have made the showing and had 330 Test and 272 ODI wickets surprisingly before calling it quits in 2003.

Fitzpatrick is the second-most noteworthy wicket-taker ever in women's cricket with 180 ODI scalps and 60 in Tests. As a mentor, she guided the Australian women's group to three World Cup titles.
