Akash Singh

On Thursday, Team India's veteran wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel has given a key advise to young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant. He said that Pant should stay away from the suggestions of the people and should only focus on his game. Patel said, "Today's youth get an opportunity to play with big players and share the dressing room. But when you are in bad form, you get advice from all sides. It is important to stay focused on your game beyond these."

Patel futher said, 'There is a lot of pressure while playing for India. In different circumstances, there is pressure on every player. Only under such pressure, your skills are enhanced. He played well in the T20 series against the West Indies. He will become a better player by coming out of such pressure situation'. At the same time, about Pant's wicket-keeping technique, he said, 'If you are playing for Team India, then it means that you have something. He made his Test debut in a tough place like England where the ball swings a lot. He is a young player and his confidence will come back after a couple of innings.'

Apart from this, when he was asked about India's best wicketkeeper in Test cricket, he named Riddhiman Saha. He said, 'There is no doubt about it. The way he catches and brings energy to the field, there is no doubt that he is the world's number one wicket keeper. He knows what is good for him. ' It is known that Rishabh Pant was facing criticism due to continuous failure. However, Pant did well in the three-match T20 series against the West Indies.
