PBL: Hyderabad Hunters’ PV Sindhu ends her Campaign with a Win

On Wednesday, India's star badminton player PV Sindhu defeated Rituparna Das as expected but her team Hyderabad Hunters has been eliminated from the Premier Badminton League (PBL). Sindhu, the reigning world champion and Rio Olympics silver medalist, defeated Rituparna of Pune Aces by 15-7 15-8 and ended the PBL with a win. Das gave a better account of herself in the second game as she kept Sindhu moving to every part of the court. Her strokeplay helped her remain on par with her highly accomplished opponent till 6-6.

On the other hand, Mithun Manjunath, who made his PBL debut, defeated Hyderabad's Priyanshu Rajawat 15-11 11-15 15-13. Earlier, Pune's Chirag Shetty and Hendra Setiawan won 15-12 15-9 over Ben Lane and Sean Wendy.

The pair of Vladimir Ivanov and NS Reddy defeated Chris Adcock and Gabrielle Adcock 15-9 11-15 15-8 in the mixed doubles for Hyderabad. With this, both teams are trailing 1–1 after losing their trump matches.
