Only Rohit Sharma can Score Double Century in T20 Cricket: Brad Hogg

Akash Singh

For many cricketers in the world, it is easy to score a century in any format of cricket. But hitting a double century is not that easy for any player. It was quite difficult to score a double century in ODI cricket, but as soon as Sachin Tendulkar hit a double century in One Day International cricket, many batsmen have done it since then. Even Indian team opener Rohit Sharma has hit 3 double centuries alone, but no one has scored a double century in T20 cricket.

It is very difficult to score a double century in T20 cricket, as the team has a total of 120 balls to play. The opener also gets only 60 balls. In such a situation, the batsman cannot think of a double century, but former Australian spinner Brad Hogg has said that it is possible to score a double century in T20 cricket. Brad Hogg has said that only Rohit Sharma can score a double century in a T20 match.

Let us tell you that Indian explosive opener Rohit Sharma is the only batsman in the world who has scored double centuries in ODIs and Test cricket, and has scored 4 centuries in T20 International cricket. Everyone is aware of the fact that Rohit Sharma can play any bowler in the world. He has done this not once or twice, but dozens of times. This is the reason why former Kangaroo player Brad Hogg also wants a double century from Rohit Sharma in the T20 match.

In fact, Brad Hogg was questioned by a fan that which batsman can score a double century in a T20 match. In response, Brad Hogg wrote, " Rohit Sharma at presently is the only player I think capable of it. Good strike rate, all timing, and plays cricketing shots finding six options all around the ground."
