Leo Carter Smashes 6 Sixes in an Over in New Zealand’s Domestic T20 Match

New Zealand's batsman Leo Carter achieved a special achievement by hitting six consecutive sixes in an over in T20 match on Sunday. Carter becomes the seventh batsman in the world to hit 6 sixes in an over. Yuvraj Singh of India holds the record for six consecutive sixes in International T20. New Zealand batsman Leo Carter did this by playing for the Canterbury team in the domestic T20 tournament on Sunday. Leo achieved this feat against the Northern Knights team. He hit six successive sixes in 16th over of spin bowler Anton Devsich of the Knights' team.

Yuvraj Singh of India hit six sixes in six consecutive balls against England in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. Yuvraj did this feat in Stuart Broad's over. Carter is the seventh batsman in the world to be included in the list of batsmen who hit 6 sixes in an over. West Indies legend Gary Sobers, India's Ravi Shastri and all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, former South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs, England's Ross Vitili and Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Jazai have already recorded this special achievement.
