Lakshya Sen Failed to Qualify in the Malaysia Masters

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen failed to qualify in the Malaysia Masters. On Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur, he was defeated by the Haines Christian Solberg Wittingus of Denmark in the Men's Singles. Solberg won the match 11-21, 21-18, 21-14. The match between the two lasted 49 minutes. In another match, Shubhankar Dey also lost. He was defeated by Malaysia's Liu Darren 21-15, 21-15.

In women's doubles, Pooja Dandu and Sanjana Santosh also failed to qualify in the main round. The Indian pair was defeated 21–15 21–10 by Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Rebekah Sugiarto of Indonesia. In the men's doubles, Satwiksairaj Rankereddy and Chirag Shetty will face Malaysia's Ong Yu Sin and Teo Ai Yi.
