The Indian team has suffered a major setback ahead of the five-match Test series to be played against England. The team's star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in quarantine. On Thursday, this information has been given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Meanwhile, he has been left out of the warm-up match in Durham to be played from 20 July.

Wriddhiman, the second main wicketkeeper of the Indian team, is also in quarantine. Now after both the wicketkeepers of the team are not in the practice match, KL Rahul, who has been touring with Team India as a third opener, is likely to keep wickets in the game.
