Venkatesh Iyer is a MBA student

Kolkata opener Venkatesh Iyer has done MBA. He got this degree at the behest of his family members. Along with this, Venkatesh is very fond of films. He is a big fan of Superstar Rajinikanth. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor David Hussey has called him a clone of former New Zealand opener and Chennai Super Kings mentor Stephen Fleming.

Hussey said, "Venkatesh hits the balls brilliantly. He hit big sixes during the match against Delhi, which turned the match in Kolkata's favor. It was because of Venkatesh that we were in a position to win. The class is amazing. He will be a big player in the future."

Ponting told India's future star

After the match ended on Wednesday, Delhi coach Ricky Ponting said, "The way Kolkata team batted during the power play made the most difference in the match. Our team didn't bat well during the power play. Ten runs behind." Kolkata has got a great player in Venkatesh. He can become the future star of Team India.
