Indonesia Open: Yamaguchi from Japan Defeated PV Sindhu in Finals

India's top seed badminton player PV Sindhu has lost in the Indonesian Open Badminton Super 1000 tournament final. With this, the Indian shuttle's title continued to dry. They have not won a single title this year so far.

Silver medal winner of the Rio Olympics World number 5 Sindhu defeated Akane Yamaguchi of Japan 21-15, 21-16 in the women's singles finals on Sunday.

The tough match between the two players lasted for 51 minutes and Sindhu had to be satisfied with the silver medal. In the first game, the start of the Indian player was intense and at one time the score was 8-8. After this, Sindhu took the lead 11-8.

World number-4 Japanese player, however, came back strongly and did not give any chance to Sindhu, winning the game 21-15. In the second game, Sindhu also competed against Yamaguchi, but could not win.

In the semi-finals, the Indian made a brilliant display by defeating world number 3 China's Chen Yu Fei 21-19, 21-10. In the 46 minutes, Sindhu made the match her name.
