Indian Women’s Cricket Team Qualifies for ICC World Cup

The Indian women's cricket team has qualified for next year's ICC World Cup to be held in New Zealand. Team India's qualification in the World Cup has been decided by the ICC Women's Championship Technical Committee. Significantly, this ICC committee has decided that all three teams' points will be distributed equally among all teams.

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2021 is to be held in New Zealand. The New Zealand team will get direct entry as the hosts. Now for the next three places, there will be a war between the remaining teams. At the moment, if you pay attention to the points table, then Australia's team has 37 points and is at number one. England is at second place with 29 points while South Africa is third with 25 points.

The Indian team has 23 points and being in the top four teams, India is the fourth team to make it to the World Cup. In the list, Pakistan is fifth with 19 points, New Zealand is sixth with 17 points, West Indies are seventh with 13 points and the Sri Lanka team is at last place with just 7 points.

The World Cup qualifier is to be played in Sri Lanka from July 3 to 19 but now it depends on the condition of the corona epidemic. In the qualifier, 10 teams will compete for the remaining three places.
