On Monday, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli held a press conference in Mumbai, a day before the first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia. During this time, Captain Kohli has said that the Indian team is ready to play the day-night test with the pink ball in future. Last year, the Indian team played their first day-night Test against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, which was played with pink ball. However, the Indian team, which played a 4-match Test series in Australia from December 2018 to January 2019, did not agree to play the day-night Test match in Australia, but now Virat Kohli has confirmed that Day-night Test matches can be played in Australia.

Captain Virat Kohli said, "We have played the Day-Night Test here (India), we are happy that it has gone well. we are ready to play Day-Night Test. We are ready for every challenge."  Virat Kohli has further said, "We have good players and we can compete with any team anywhere in the world. Be it in any format, white ball, red ball or pink ball."

Actually, the Indian team has to play Test series in Australia from late 2020 and early 2021. It is believed that the Indian team may play the day-night test with pink ball in the Boxing Day Test match. In such a situation, Virat Kohli has confirmed that he is ready to play the day-night Test match anywhere.
