IND vs AUS: Team India Ready for Series Comeback

Akash Singh

The second match of the three-match ODI series will be played at Rajkot today. Team India suffered a major defeat in the first match but now Team India is ready for the counterattack. In such a situation, this second match will be very exciting. Indian captain Virat Kohli's decision of batting at number 4 was proved wrong in the first match. Now, it is estimated that Kohli will bat at number 3. With Rishabh Pant out, Kl Rahul will be seen wicket-keeping. Like the previous matches, Rohit and Dhawan can open the innings. Kl Rahul may bat at number 4.

Manish Pandey may replace Rishabh Pant. He did well in the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Pune. The bowlers could not take a single wicket in the first match, so there will be pressure on them to do well. It is also to see who gets a chance between Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur. Ravindra Jadeja is scheduled to play, so Captain has to decide between Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.

The Australian team is in great form right now. Captain Aaron Finch and Warner would like to maintain that form. The middle-order has great players like Steve Smith, Marnus Labushagne, Ashton Turner and Alex Carrie. The bowlers also performed well in the first match. Mitchell Starc, spinner Adam Zampa and Turner has also proved useful.
