IND vs AUS: Andrew McDonald to Coach Australia as Langer Takes Break from Series

Australian cricket team has to tour India this month. The team's head coach Justin Langer will not accompany the team on this tour. Australian team assistant coach Andrew McDonald will replace Langer during this tour. The three-match ODI series between India and Australia is to begin this month in India. The first match of the three-match series is to be played in Mumbai on 14 January. This will be the first time that McDonald will serve as the head coach of the team.

Langer said about McDonald, "He is a fantastic Coach, we have many more brilliant coaches who would be willing to help him." Recently, under Langer's coaching, Australia has defeated Pakistan and New Zealand in two consecutive series. Australia beat Pakistan 2–0 and New Zealand 3–0 in the Test series.

The first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on January 14 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The second match is to be played at Rajkot on 17 January while the last match is to be played at Bangalore on 19 January.
