In the thrilling 38th match of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 9 Wickets and assure his win in the match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. This is the Sixth win if Hyderabad in this season of IPL.

Prior to the match Hyderabad won the toss and Decided to bowl first in which Kolkata scored 159 runs  with the loss of 9 wickets and Hyderabad achieved the target in just 15 overs and score 160 runs with the loss of 1 wicket.

Earlier, KKR's innings followed a boom, bust, and flicker pattern as they scored 159/8 after put in to bat by Kane Williamson-led SRH.

Warner, who is the current Orange Cap holder with 517 runs against his name, scored 67 before getting out to Yarra Prithviraj, Bairstow, who is now occupying the second spot in the list of the leading run-getters of IPL 2019 with 445 runs, remained unbeaten on 80 to seal SRH's win with five overs to spare.

At the end of the first innings, this seemed to be a par score but the way Warner and Bairstow batted, it seemed that Kolkata were at least 50 runs short. Yes, they were helped by the visitors' fielders but take nothing away from their innings.

They were smashing the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Both got to their half tons and their 131-run stand more or less sealed the deal. The left-hander did fall but Williamson and Bairstow ensured there were no more wickets to fall.

Hyderabad's second biggest win in terms of both – wickets and balls remaining. The one-man army from the eastern state of India is going down very badly.

After the win, Hyderabad reach to the fourth position on the point table and made his place in top four this season.

On Monday, Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Capitals at Jaipur. The match will begin at 8 p.m.
