Former Australian Bowler Peter Siddle Picks his Favorite All-Time XI

Akash Singh

Former Australian cricket team fast bowler Peter Siddle has selected his all-time XI and the captaincy of the team is given to Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Siddle has the same players in this team against whom he has played. Apart from Sachin and Dhoni, no Indian player could make a place in this team.

The Australian veteran, who retired from international cricket in December last year, has chosen an all-time XI. Players from Pakistan, West Indies, and New Zealand have not found a place in Siddle's team. He has played most of the matches against India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and England, so players of these teams have also got a place in his team.

The team has selected the opening pair of England's Alastair Cook and South Africa's Graeme Smith. Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara is at number three and Indian veteran Sachin Tendulkar at number four. At number five is AB de Villiers South Africa.

England's fast bowling duo of James Anderson and Stuart Broad have also been included. Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath was selected as the spinner. He has selected Ben Stokes as the 12th player.

All-time XI:

Alastair Cook (England), Graeme Smith (South Africa), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Sachin Tendulkar (India), AB de Villiers (South Africa), Jacques Kallis (South Africa), MS Dhoni (Captain, India), Stuart Broad (England), Dale Steyn (South Africa), Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka), James Anderson (England).
