Cricket South Africa Supports ICC’s Proposal of Four-Day Test

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had recently proposed the idea of conducting 4-day Test match instead of 5 days, which was opposed by all many cricketers and cricket boards. At the same time, the South Africa Cricket Board (CSA) has supported this proposal of ICC. In this regard, Cricket South Africa says that we have already played a 4-day Test match. On Tuesday, Cricket South Africa has said that we support this ICC proposal (4 day Test match), which is going to be implemented from the year 2023.

England Cricket Board and Australia Cricket Board are against this decision of ICC. Apart from this, many cricketers from all over the world have also stood in opposition to this proposal of the ICC. On the other hand, former Indian captain Anil Kumble, chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee, had given a statement on Monday that he would consider it in the next meeting of the ICC. The ICC Cricket Committee had put this proposal before the world.
