China Sizzled by the Boycott of Beijing Winter Olympics

China has sorrowed another setback ahead of the Winter Olympics to be held in Beijing in 2022. After America, Great Britain and Australia, Canada has now announced a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics. China announced on Thursday that the 4 countries that boycotted the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing will pay the price.

The US and Australia had already announced a boycott. At the same time, Great Britain and Canada informed this on Wednesday. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau gave this information from his official Twitter account. Justin said that Canada is deeply distressed by the continuing human rights violations in China. Against this, we will not send any diplomatic spokesperson to the Winter Games.

Olympic Games were Boycotted

Many more countries may boycott the Beijing Winter Games. Many countries have had to face the boycott of other countries. Various countries boycotted the Olympic Games due to war, invasion and apartheid in 1956 Melbourne, 1964 Tokyo, 1976 Montreal, 1980 Moscow, 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul.

Human Rights Violations

Before Canada, Britain had also revealed a boycott. He had said that no diplomat from our country will go to China. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also said that I do not think it is wise to boycott the Games and it is the policy of the government.

Earlier, Australia and earlier America have also announced a boycott of the Winter Olympics going to be held in Beijing. After this, he has mentioned atrocities on Uighur Muslims in China's Xinjiang province and many other human rights violations. However, all 4 countries will be seen supporting their players participating in the Olympics.

That's why we welcome the support of their Olympic squads, Bach said in a video conference. It is giving assurance to the athletes and that is what the IOC is all about. According to Xinhua news agency, the chairman of the Beijing 2022 athletes committee said the Games were a platform for athletes, not a runway for politics.
