After the meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in Dubai, BCB agreed to play T20, Test and ODI matches in Pakistan. But the players of Bangladeshi Team are withdrawing their names before the tour. At the same time, Bangladesh batting coach Neil McKenzie and fielding coach Ryan Cook opted out of the first stage of upcoming tour of Pakistan. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) gave this information on Saturday. BCB Cricket Operations President Akram Khan said that the team would go on a tour of Pakistan without five members of the coaching staff.

While former South African cricketers McKenzie and Cook have opted out on their own, the BCB decided not to call spin consultant Daniel Vettori for this short-term series. The name of team analyst Srinivas Chandrasekaran was also not considered as he is an Indian national while adaptation coach Mario Villavarayan suffered an injury in his hand. Akram said, 'Mario's broke his hand recently while team analysts would work with the team through Skype. McKenzie and the fielding coach will also not go, while we are yet to confirm our new bowling coach. '

Earlier this week, wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim refused to visit Pakistan. Bangladesh has to play three T20s, two Tests and one ODI in a three-stage series from January to April in Pakistan.
