Australian Bowler Mitchell Starc Seeking Compensation

Australia's fast bowler Mitchell Starc has been facing a lawsuit against the insurance company due to not playing in the IPL. Starc was included in the team of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Stark has demanded $ 15.3 million (about 10 million rupees) compensation.

Starc did not play a single match. After this, he started legal action for the insurance company for the US $ 15.3 million (about Rs 10 crore). Actually, Starc is forced to miss the IPL 2019 after he was injured during the Test series against South Africa last year.

It is being told that Stark filed a lawsuit against London's own insurer, Lloyd Syndicate, for the contract with Kolkata Knight Riders in Victorian County Court last week. These companies pay in addition to the benefits given by traditional insurance companies in unique circumstances.

The 29-year-old seamer has reportedly filed a lawsuit in the Victorian County Court last week against the insurance company for having failed to benefit from his deal with the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders due to the injury.

The petition filed on behalf of the Starc was told that the insurer had completed their medical examination and the contract had many prohibitions against old injuries. It is being told that the policy taken by Stark was mentioned in this case that if Starc cannot play in IPL due to injury, he will get a compensation of $ 1.53 million.

Australian player had bought by KKR for $ 18 million in the 2018 IPL auction.

The lawyer for Starc Mills Oakley has taken legal action against the insurance company. The lawyer told that Starc's insurance policy was effective from February 27 to March 31, 2018. Starc was claimed to have felt the pain due to injury during the second Test in Port Elizabeth on March 10.
