Harshita Sharma

In the T20 World Cup final match between India and Australia, Australia defeated Team India by 85 runs and captured the World Cup title. This is Australia's 5th World Cup title. Earlier, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first, where the team had a target of 185 runs in front of India by losing 4 wickets. In response, Team India's batting failed completely and the entire team was all out for only 99 runs. Here Deepti Sharma played the highest innings of 33 runs for the team.

Let us know that the biggest star of this World Cup tournament, Shefali Verma, scored for India in the entire tournament, but in this final match, she was dismissed for 0. After this neither Captain Harmanpreet went nor did Smriti Mandhana. If these two batsmen failed in the whole tournament, then no batsman could run even in the final match.

Team India won the first three matches in this World Cup, batting first. They  defeated Australia by 17 runs in the tournament's opening match, while beating Bangladesh by 18 runs in the second match. The Indian team won the third league match against New Zealand by 3 runs. But in today's match, neither bowler nor batsman was able to show amazing and the team lost this match by 85 runs.

So far 6 T20 World Cups have been held. This was the 7th tournament. India had not reached the final even once. This was the first final for the team where the team lost. Australia capture World Cup title for 5th time.
