Parliament TV Account Missing, YouTube Cites Community Guidelines, Users Suspect Hacking
YouTube has closed the official account of Sansad TV (Sansad TV YouTube-Account Terminated). Ongoing to the channel's page, it is being written that 'This account has been closed for violating the Community Guidelines of YouTube'.
Some users shared screenshots and videos on the social media website claiming that the YouTube account of Parliament TV was hacked late on Monday night. Users also noticed this on Twitter. However, so far nothing has been said from the government in this regard.
What's going on in the world of social media?
Screenshots have been posted by a large number of users. The account was allegedly hacked late at night and its name changed to 'Ethereum.' It was also reported that a video connected to this coin had gone up. The most recent footage was posted on Sansad TV's official Twitter account at 10.35 p.m. on Monday. It contains a YouTube link that is no longer active. Sansad TV is yet to provide an update.

The central government amalgamated Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha television and renamed it "Parliament TV" last year. In March 2021, retired IAS Ravi Kapoor was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu launched Parliament TV on September 15, 2021. The Rajya Sabha TV account on YouTube has been renamed Parliament TV. YouTube has now deactivated that account.
Army's Facebook and Instagram pages have been disabled
Chinar Core's verified accounts on Facebook and Instagram were recently suspended. The Instagram account was restored on February 10 after being suspended for a week. The officers of these social media platforms contacted the concerned army officers when news of the closure of Chinar Corps' Instagram and Facebook profiles appeared in the media. Then Core's Instagram page, which has 4 million followers, was restored. Through these two social media pages, the Chinar Corps keeps the rest of the world informed about the real situation in the valley.
