Hindu Temples not Safe in Bangladesh: In Bangladesh, once again the incidents of attacks on Hindus and Hindu temples have started increasing. On 7 October, unknown people attacked a Hindu temple and vandalized the Maa Kali idol.

The incident took place in Dautiya village of Jhenaidah district of Bangladesh. The head of the deity was found lying on the road half a kilometre away from the temple.

Even a day after the incident, no accused has been arrested in this case. The police are investigating the matter.

Hindu Temples not safe in Bangladesh

The attackers carried out this incident between three and four o'clock in the night. Temple committee chairman Sukumar Kunda has said about the incident that there are no security arrangements here, so the attackers fearlessly broke the idols.

Idol of Maa Kali Vandalised in Bangladesh

The faith of the Hindu people has been hurt since the incident. There have been attacks on Hindu temples in the past as well in Bangladesh.

Last year also the incident of attack on temple was carried out

The incident happened within 24 hours after the 10-day Durga Puja ended. Regarding the incident, Chandnath Poddar, general secretary of the Bangladesh Puja Ceremony Council, said that this incident is very unfortunate.

Let us tell you that earlier last year also the incident of attack on Hindu temples was carried out in these days itself.

This is not the first instance of vandalism in a temple. On March 18 this year, the ISKCON Radhakanta temple in Dhaka was vandalised. Many devotees were also injured in this incident.
