Rajasthan: Former Granthi of Gurdwara Beaten up by Unknown Miscreants, Cut his Hair too

Once again the shameful act of the people of a particular community has come to the fore from Alwar in Rajasthan.

On the night of 21 July, a former granthi of the gurdwara going from Milakpur village to Alwara was beaten up by unknown people. The miscreants cut his hair and put chilli powder in his eyes too. The accused fled from the spot.

Gurbaksh Singh was admitted to the hospital in critical condition where he is undergoing treatment.

As soon as the information about the incident spread, there was anger in the area and a large number of people of the Sikh community gathered in the police station.

Seeing the seriousness of the same matter, SP Tejashwani Gautam and District Collector also reached Ramgarh and taking full information, assured to arrest the accused soon.

Incident is being investigated by registering a case

At around 10.30 pm, Alwar SP Tejaswani Gautam and District Collector reached the spot. The SP said that the incident is being investigated by registering a case.

In this case, SP Tejashwi Gautam said that on the basis of the statement of the victim, a case has been registered against unknown people. An investigation has been started by forming four different teams in search of the accused.

What was the matter?

According to the victim, Gurbaksh Singh, the former granthi of Milakpur Gurdwara was stopped by some unknown miscreants on some pretext and after that put chilli powder in his eyes and took him aside. They were talking about cutting my neck.

I panicked and said why are you killing me. I am the priest of the gurudwara, so they called a person named Jumma. At Jumma's behest, the accused thrashed him and cut his hair.
