Incident of Robbery in Paota Town of Jaipur: The spirits of criminals are increasing in the capital Jaipur. The miscreants have directly challenged the police, disturbing the law and order.
In the Sabzi Mandi colony of Paota town in Jaipur district, some miscreants entered the house on Wednesday, Aug 31 morning and carried out the incident of robbery.
During this when the family members woke up, the miscreants started firing.
A woman was seriously injured in this incident, who has been referred to Jaipur in critical condition.
Panic spread in the area due to robbery and firing incident. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot and expressed their anger over the incident.
Nearby people reached the spot after hearing gunshots
According to the information, at around 3 in the morning, 4 miscreants entered the house of Santosh Mahajan located in the Sabzi Mandi colony of Paota.
Out of these, 2 miscreants stood inside and 2 miscreants stood outside the house, during which Santosh, who was sleeping in the house, woke up.
Seeing the miscreants, Santosh tried to catch them. A scuffle broke out between the miscreants and the youth.
Hearing the noise, the woman also reached there and tried to intervene. During this, the miscreants standing outside also came inside and opened fire.
After that the miscreants fled from there. Hearing the noise of gunshots, nearby people reached the spot and informed the police about the matter.
Police investigation started in the case
The police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the local hospital in Paota, from where the doctors referred both of them to Jaipur.
Police have collected evidence from the spot. According to police officials, in the last few days, a gang is active in Biratnagar, Jamwa Ramgarh and Dausa districts, which carry out such incidents.
It is suspected that this incident has also been done by the members of the same gang. At present, the police have blocked the area to nab the miscreants and a police team has also been formed.
The police are also examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding area.
At the same time, the angry villagers staged a sit-in protest against the incident at Ghantaghar Chowk of Paota. Presently investigation is going on on the matter.
