Punjab: Congress MP Blames Sidhu for Defeat, says 'Unguided Missile'

Amritsar MP's statement has come to the fore on the defeat of Congress in Punjab. Congress MP from Amritsar Gurjit Singh Aujla's statement has come to the fore. He has blamed Congress state president Navjot Singh Sidhu for the defeat. Aujla has described Sidhu as an 'unguided' missile.

There is a ruckus in Congress over the defeat in 5 states. The meeting of Congress Working Committee is to be held today i.e. March 13. Earlier, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has given a big statement. He said that the organization of the Congress party is weak. Weakness in the party organization resulted in the defeat. The defeat in Punjab was our fault. The anti-incumbency wave could not stop in Punjab.

Congress leader Singhvi described the defeat as disappointing

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi described the defeat of Congress in the elections as disappointing. He said that I expected a tremor in Punjab. There was a big jolt in Goa and Uttarakhand. Singhvi, however, defended the party leadership and said the party leadership faced challenges. The high command has to be ready to take on everything, the party needs to be rebuilt from the bottom up.

Congress denied reports of Gandhi Family resignation

The Congress party denied reports that the members of the Gandhi family would resign from all organizational posts. Sonia Gandhi has not been campaigning actively for some time now, apart from Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi has been the star campaigner of Congress. Along with this, the brother-sister pair also plays a major role in the important decisions of the party. Despite a high-level campaign led by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, general secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh, the Congress could win only two of the 403 assembly seats in the state.
