Congress is getting one setback after another. After the crushing defeat in the assembly by-elections, now another bad news is coming out for the party.

A court in Bangalore has ordered Twitter to temporarily block the accounts of the Congress Party and Bharat Jodi Yatra.

Congress has been accused of copyright. It is alleged that Congress illegally used the sound record of the film KGF Chapter-2 on its official Twitter account and the account of Bharat Jodo Yatra.

MRT Music alleges copyright

MRT Music has filed a copyright complaint for illegally using the sound record of the film KGF Chapter-2 in the Twitter account of the Congress Party and Bharat Jodo Yatra after which the Bangalore court ordered the temporary closure of the Twitter account of the Congress party.

Illegal use of sound records cannot be encouraged: Court

A Bengaluru court, while hearing the complaint of MRT Music, said that the Twitter account of Congress and Bharat Jodo Yatra should be temporarily blocked.

After that, the court further said, if the illegal use of the sound record is not stopped, then the music label may suffer a huge loss. Piracy can be encouraged on a large scale.
