The BJP has expelled Harak Singh Rawat, who had rebelled against Congress in 2016, from the party's membership for six years. Pushkar Singh Dhami the Chief Minister has also removed him from the cabinet. Harak Singh Rawat has been shown the door out of the party and the ministry, according to Uttarakhand State BJP President Madan Kaushik. It's been suggested that he might run for Congress now.

He was appointed as cabinet minister and candidate from Kotdwar by BJP

Harak Singh Rawat, a cabinet minister who is seen as a symbol of upheaval in the state's politics, has now become a source of embarrassment for the BJP this time. Harak Singh Rawat and nine other Congress MLAs made headlines in 2016 by abandoning Harish Rawat and joining the BJP. He was not only elected as a candidate from Kotdwar by the BJP but he was also appointed as a cabinet minister. Harak's figure remained at 36 during his nearly four-year reign from former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.

He was playing both sides Congress as well as BJP

He maintained a direct battle with Trivendra over the Workers' Board's irregularities and appointments. When the BJP took over from Trivendra, his objective was to become the chief minister. The coronation of Tirath Singh Rawat and Pushkar Singh Dhami hindered their ambitions. The news of his dissatisfaction continued to circulate. On the one hand, he was allegedly constantly pressuring the BJP by moving Harak Kotdwar's seat and requesting seats for three family members, while on the other hand, he was allegedly attempting to pave the path for his return to the Congress.

Political uproar began all over again

He left for Delhi on Sunday, according to the latest news. He just mentioned like "Harish Bhai has opened his card but I had not yet opened my cards". For the second time in three days, Harak Singh Rawat has traveled to Delhi. As soon as word of his unexpected departure to Delhi arrived, the political uproar began all over again.
