Rogers Cup: Rohan Bopanna & Denis Shapovalov Crash Out in Semis

The Indo-Canadian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov crashed out of Rogers Cup after confronting a straight-set defeat to the Dutch team of Robin Haase and Wesley Koolhof in the Men's doubles semi-final.

The unseeded team of Bopanna and Shapovalov lost by 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 out of a hard-battled challenge that kept going over an hour and a half on Saturday.

The pair of Haase and Koolhof will currently confront the Spanish-Argentine pair of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the final on Sunday.

Prior, Bopanna and Shapovalov had gotten a walkover in their quarterfinal clash against France's Benoit Paire and Swiss Stan Wawrinka.
