Pakistan: The Construction Work of Lord Shri Krishna’s Temple to be Built at a Cost of 10 Crores

Pakistan is going to fabricate the first Hindu temple in Islamabad. The construction of the temple of Lord Shri Krishna, built at a cost of Rs 10 crore has also started.  According to the information, the temple will be Built in 20 thousand square feet in the H-9 area of ​​the capital.

The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the temple was performed on Tuesday by Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Lal Chand Malhi.  Addressing the gathering, Malhi said that Islamabad and its surrounding areas had many temples dating back to 1947, including one near Saidpur village and one near the Korang river.

The Minister has taken up the matter of special keepsake for the Temple

The Islamabad Hindu Panchayat has named the temple as Sri Krishna Mandir. The report said that Religious Affairs Minister Pir Noorul Haq Qadri said that the government would bear the cost of construction, which would cost Rs 10 crore for the construction.  Quoting a senior official of the ministry, it has been said that the minister has already taken up the matter of special Keepsake for the temple with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to Dawn news, the Hindu population in Islamabad has grown considerably in the last two decades and hence the need for a temple was felt.  Malhi also regretted the lack of cremation in Islamabad for the minority community during this period.
