Hyderabad Based Biotechnology Company Bharat Biotech Going to Start Human Trials of Coronavirus Vaccines in July

The whole world is waiting for the vaccine to win the war against the Coronavirus. Also India is trying to make its own vaccine against the Coronavirus epidemic. Hyderabad-based biotechnology company Bharat Biotech is going to start human trials of its vaccine in July.  There is relief news for the people of India.  The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has written a letter to Bharat Biotech asking it to run Human Trial in Fast Track mode.  ICMR has said that Bharat Biotech's test results of corona vaccine on humans may be released by August 15.  It has been instructed to complete the clinical trial. ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) asked to complete all the action on time.

This vaccine has been prepared by a Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company. ICMR has written a letter to India's leading vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech, which has developed an effective vaccine 'Covaxin' (COVAXIN) on Corona, to complete the human testing process of COVID19 vaccine using the Fast Track method. The statement issued by the company said that the vaccine has been prepared in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).

Human Trial will start from July 7

ICMR Director General Dr. Balaram Bhargava has said in the departmental letter that the human trial of this vaccine will start from July 7 which should not be delayed, so that this vaccine can be launched for public on August 15.  Dr. Krishna Ella, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Biotech, said, "Human trials will be started across the country in July 2020." He said that vaccine development is a milestone and the company is proud to announce it.  ICMR DG Balaram Bhargava has written a letter to the principal investigators of Bharat Biotech and Medical Colleges to expedite the testing process of the indigenous corona vaccine.

Let us tell you that apart from the trials of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, Zydus Cadila has also got permission for the trial of a vaccine being developed for COVID-19.  The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has allowed pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila to launch Phase I and Phase 2 human trials of the COVID-19 vaccine.
