Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is a state-owned telecommunications service provider and wholly owned subsidiary of BSNL has provided double data benefit for people doing work from home due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Earlier, BSNL and Reliance Jio provides double data for people who are doing work from home, now MTNL gives plans for people. Talking about MTNL, double data benefit has been given by India's Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad from his official Twitter account.

MTNL is providing double data offer for one month in all landline plans and mobile plans. Users of Delhi and Mumbai will take this benefit by Government Telecom Company MTNL. telecom company is Giving information on Twitter to Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said that now users will be provided double data benefit for one month. According to the information given here, users will currently get double data benefit for one month.

At the same time, Sunil Kumar, chairman and managing director of MTNL, said in a statement that the broadband plans and mobile plans of all the landlines of the company will have a double data offer for one month. Furthermore, it is also reported that installation charges for new customers opting for copper based connection will be forgone. However, users will have to pay for the modem needed for the service.
