ATP Cup: Novak Djokovic Leads Serbia to Victory

On Sunday, World's number two Novak Djokovic played a key role in defeating long-time rival world's number one Rafael Nadal in straight sets in the ATP Cup final to make Serbia the champion. Serbia won the title by beating Spain 2–1. Djokovic also showed his preparations for the campaign to save his title at the Australian Open. Djokovic, ranked second in the world rankings defeated the top ranked Spanish player 6–2, 7–6 in the final of the tournament being played for the first time.

After winning the title for Serbia, Novak Djokovic said, "I will miss this experience in my life. This is one of the best moments of my career. I am very fortunate to have had a wonderful career in the last 15 years. I'm playing for my country with some of my best friends. It's very special. "

At the same time, Spain player Rafael Nadal said after losing the match, "I tried to come back in the second set and I am happy with it. I had opportunities and I was very close. But, I am saddened by this defeat."
