Nitin Gadkari – Chinese Companies Involved in Highway projects Will be Banned

India is constantly giving shocks on the economic front to China and now India is preparing to ban Chinese companies in all highway projects, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has given this information. Chinese companies will also not be allowed to work as joint venture partners (JVs).

The government banned 59 Chinese apps recently

It is worth mentioning that before this, Chinese companies were thrown out of many contracts of the railway and apart from this, the government has banned 59 Chinese apps recently. The government now seems to give constant blows to China on economic fronts. Road Transport and Highways and MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the government will also ensure that there is no relationship with Chinese investors in various sectors of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Significantly, 20 brave soldiers of our country were martyred in the violent clash on the India-China Line of Control last month, after which the anti-China atmosphere in the country is at its peak as there are talks about boycotting Chinese companies and Chinese goods going on all over the India.

'We will not even allow Chinese companies to build joint ventures in road construction'

In an interview to news agency PTI, Gadkari said, "We will not even allow Chinese companies to build joint ventures in road construction." If they come to our country through joint ventures, then we will not allow it by following a strict attitude.

He also said that the government will soon come up with a policy in this regard, through which Chinese companies will be banned and a soft policy will be made for Indian companies so that Indian companies can bid for the highway project.

It is worth noting that at present, Chinese companies are working as partners in some infrastructure projects of the country. It should be noted that Gadkari also said that the new decision will be applicable to all existing and future projects.
