Sonia Gandhi Reaches ED Office for Second Round of Questioning in National Herald Case

Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi reached the ED office on Tuesday for the second round of questioning in the National Herald case.

On Thursday too i.e. July 21, she was questioned by the ED for about two hours.

During this, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi also accompanied him. However, Priyanka Gandhi will accompany her to the ED office.

In fact, because of the health of Sonia Gandhi, a person is allowed inside the ED office with her.

In the last hearing too, Priyanka Gandhi accompanied her mother to the ED office. However, they were not allowed to be together during the interrogation.

Delhi Police refused to allow Congress to hold a protest at Rajghat

On the other hand, the Delhi Police refused to allow Congress to hold a protest at Rajghat. Section 144 has been imposed here.

Along with this, heavy police force has been deployed near the Congress office. Congress has targeted the BJP regarding this.

This case was closed in 2016 itself- Ajay Maken

Congress leader Ajay Maken said we wanted to hold a Satyagraha at Rajghat. But BJP is not allowing us to do Satyagraha.

Also, he said that this case was over in 2016 as well. ED had closed it. But the government has reopened it.

Ajay Maken alleged that even Congress leaders are not being allowed to enter the party office.

Avoid travelling on these routes in Delhi today

Delhi Police has issued a traffic alert in view of Congress's protest against the ED's action on Sonia Gandhi.

Police have advised people to avoid travelling at Motilal Nehru Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath, Man Singh Road, Gol Methi Junction, Tughlaq Road Junction, Claridges Junction, Q-Point Junction, Sunehri Masjid Junction, Maulana Azad Road Junction. Special arrangements have been made for traffic by Delhi Police.
