On the pretext of the ongoing hijab row in Karnataka, Pakistan is plotting to vent its enmity. From Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to former PM Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz has jumped into the case. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that depriving Muslim girls of education is a gross violation of fundamental human rights.

At the same time, Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry said that what is going on in India is frightening. Reacting to the tweets of these ministers of Pakistan, India's Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that giving communal colour to the dress code is a conspiracy against India's inclusive culture.

At the same time, Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has supported the hijab. On her Twitter, Maryam Nawaz has put a picture of Karnataka's smile in the profile picture. However, she has not written anything while tweeting this picture. Here, Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai called the hijab controversy horrific.

Earlier on Wednesday, a single judge of the Karnataka High Court, who was hearing the hijab controversy referred the matter to Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi. A three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice will hear the matter on Thursday. Whereas, the state cabinet has decided to wait for the High Court order before taking any decision on the hijab controversy.
