Omicron: 27 New Cases of Corona in 24 hours in UP; Recovery rate Declined
Omicron has knocked in two states of the country, Karnataka and Gujarat, after which other states are also under threat. Meanwhile, cases of Covid have increased in Uttar Pradesh as well. On Saturday, 27 new cases were reported in the state, while only 9 positive cases were reported on Friday. Corona infected cases in the state is 116
Only 4 patients have recovered on Saturday, while 8 patients were recovered on Friday. At present, the total number of corona infected cases in the state is 116. At the same time, samples of patients found infected have been sent for genome sequencing to test the Omicron variant.
1 lakh 51 thousand 758 samples were tested in 24 hours
According to UP Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad, so far 8 crore 81 lakh 89 thousand 143 samples have been tested in the state. The total active cases of corona in the state are 116. Apart from this, monitoring committees have been kept on alert mode across the state. Instructions have been issued to take vigil in both urban and rural areas. At the same time, medicines are being made available even if someone is found infected and shows symptoms of corona. Instructions have been issued to follow the protocol already mentioned for the methods of protection against the new variant of Corona.
Vaccination update
So far 16 crore 71 lakh 73 thousand 504 people have been vaccinated in the state. Of these, 11 crore 42 lakh 47 thousand 786 have been given the first dose, while 5 crore 29 lakh 25 thousand 718 people have received both the doses. At the same time, on Saturday, more than 9 lakh 32 thousand doses were taken at 13 thousand 79 centers. Earlier on Friday, 11 lakh 23 thousand 52 people got the vaccine dose. Out of this, 4 lakh 72 thousand 456 got the first dose and 6 lakh 50 thousand 596 got the second dose.
Covid testing count in the state
On November 29, 1 lakh 24 thousand 647 samples have been tested in the state. On the other hand, on November 30, 1 lakh 26 thousand 55, on December 2, 1 lakh 66 thousand 10, on December 3, 1 lakh 54 thousand 458 and on December 4, 1 lakh 51 thousand 758 samples have been tested.
