According to the security forces, Lashkar in Anantnag and Jaish insiders were cordoned off in Kulgam. Earlier it was reported that an encounter is going on between terrorists and security forces in the Sirhama area of ​​Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. During the search operation, firing was done by the terrorists, after which the encounter started. In this encounter, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Nisar Dar was killed by the security forces.

An official said that after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists, the security forces started a search operation by cordoning off the Shirahama area of ​​the Anantnag district. He told that during this the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, to which the force also gave a befitting reply and due to this the operation turned into an encounter.

There was also an encounter in Tral

On 6 April, two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Tral area of ​​Awantipora. According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) terrorist Safat Muzaffar Sofi and Lashkar terrorist Umar Teli were killed in Tral. Both were involved in several terror crimes in Srinagar city, including the recent murder of Sarpanch (Sameer Ahmad) in Khanmoh Srinagar.
