The situation is becoming difficult in Ukraine due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine has issued an advisory for all students including its citizens. In the advisory issued by the Embassy of India, it has been said that the students and citizens of India should leave Kyiv immediately. The embassy has issued an advisory for Indian citizens and students through social media.

According to media reports, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine on Tuesday suggested all Indians, including students, leave Kyiv immediately by train or any other means available.

India is evacuating students through Romania-Hungary

Let us inform you that due to the closure of the airspace of war-torn Ukraine after Russia's attack on Ukraine, India is evacuating its citizens from there through Ukraine's border posts with Romania, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The Indian embassy in Ukraine advised students on Monday to reach the railway station in the capital Kyiv so that they can travel further to the western parts of the war-torn country.

Weekend curfew lifted in Kyiv

The Indian Embassy in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv said that the weekend curfew has been lifted in Kyiv and Indian students can go to the railway station to leave the city. The embassy tweeted, 'Weekend curfew has been lifted in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv. All the students and citizens are advised to visit the railway station to reach the western parts. Ukraine Railways is running special trains for the evacuation of people.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already said that despite the ground situation in Ukraine being very difficult and complex, it will bring back every citizen from the war-torn country. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said, 'India will bring back every citizen from Ukraine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the entire government is working round the clock to ensure the safety of all Indians in Ukraine.
