Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, who once addressed the master of terror as 'Sahib', had come into controversies. But now the Congress-led UPA government and former Vice President Hamid Ansari are facing big allegations.
A Pakistani journalist has been used to support this accusation. The journalist's name is Nusrat Mirza.
Journalist Nusrat Mirza said that he travelled to India many times during the UPA regime. Mirza said that he came to India at the invitation of Vice President Hamid Ansari. Hamid Ansari was the Vice President of India from 2007 to 2017.
In India, he gathered intelligence and sent it to Pakistan's agency ISI. Nusrat Mirza said in an interview with a YouTuber Shakil Choudhary that he had visited India several times between 2005 and 2011.
During that time intelligence was collected and given to ISI.
In one of her interviews with YouTuber Shakil, Nusrat Mirza also mentioned his 2010 tour. According to Nusrat, he travelled to India to take part in a lecture on terrorism.
At that time the then Vice President Hamid Ansari had invited to participate in this seminar.
He travelled to many places and gathered information. During that he met Zafarul Islam Khan. The information received during the tour was given to ISI.
Mirza also claimed that he used to get many facilities from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He was allowed to visit five cities instead of three in India. Journalist Nusrat Mirza has claimed that he had visited India five times.
Mirza visited Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Patna and Kolkata. Khurshid, the then Foreign Minister of Pakistan, had asked the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, General Kayani, to inform about this.
Instead of Kayani, Mirza informed Khurshid about it. After this, calls kept coming to him to give more information.
