Entitling of RSS Chief with "Rashtra Pita", Now Getting Threat of "Sir Tan Se Juda"

Since Independence

All India Imam organization (AIIO) chief Umar Ahmed Ilyasi is receiving threats of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' for meeting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and calling him 'Father of the Nation'.

The threatening phone calls started on 23 September from England, where temples and the Hindu community were recently targeted by extremists.

In the last week, he has been given such threats through hundreds of phone calls from many parts of the country including Pakistan.

Imam has lodged a case in this regard at Tilak Marg police station in Delhi and canceled all his public events due to security reasons.

Anti-national people are offended by the meet

Umar Ahmed Ilyasi said, 'I will not apologize under any circumstances...even if I become a martyr. I have been getting threatening calls from abroad after calling RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat the father of the nation... a complaint has been lodged in the police station.

The Home Secretary and the Commissioner have also been informed in writing. The RSS chief had come to my place...it was a personal meeting...but anti-national people don't like it.

Let us inform you that to meet Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, the RSS chief went to the mosque located on Kasturba Gandhi Marg, where the Imam lives with his family.

Mohan Bhagwat spoke to students in the madrasa

Mohan Bhagwat and Ilyasi also visited the madrasa and interacted with the students there.

Terming this extraordinary initiative of the chief as a historic development toward religious harmony, the head of the All India Imam organization described him as the 'Father of the Nation' and 'Rishi of the Nation'.

He said that Mohan Bhagwat is a preacher, he has dedicated his whole life to the service of the country and society. That's why he is the father of the nation.

Imam Ilyasi supports ban on PFI

Ilyasi's statement about Mohan Bhagwat did not go down well with some politicians and fundamentalists.

In his complaint to the police, Imam said that after meeting the RSS chief, his mobile phone received threats of "Sir Tan Se Juda" from different countries and several states of India.

In this regard, AIIO chief Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi lodged a case on September 24 at Tilak Marg police station. He has also informed the Home Secretary and Delhi Police Commissioner about this matter. He told that even after supporting the ban of PFI, he is the target of fundamentalists.
