The DGCA has sought a report from Air India in this regard. An Air India official told news agency ANI that the issue of putting the male passenger on the no-fly list is being considered by a government committee and a decision is awaited.

The incident came to light after The Times of India reported the letter which it said the woman had written to Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran recounting her harrowing experience on the flight.

In her complaint, she wrote that the cabin crew did not make necessary effort to relieve her of the trauma

Male passenger was completely drunk

As per the TOI report, the incident took place on board AI-102. Shortly after lunch was served and the lights turned off, the man went to the female passenger seat, unzipped his pants, and urinated.
