Chandigarh University: 3 Arrested in MMS Case, CU Closed for 6 Days

Chandigarh University MMS Case: Till Monday (September 19, 2022) three arrests were made in the Chandigarh University (CU) MMS case.

Among them is the girl who allegedly made a video of girls taking a bath in the hostel along with her boyfriend, which was nabbed from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh late on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, the university has been closed for six days. A notice was issued saying that the students are being given a week's leave.

In such a situation, on Monday (September 19, 2022), the students started returning to their respective homes.

The girl who is accused of making clips of other girls used to stay in the hostel itself. By the way, the university administration and management clearly said that the girl did not make the videos of other girls. This is just a rumour.

The students of this private university demonstrated on a large scale in Mohali, Punjab, regarding this whole matter, after which Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also ordered an inquiry into the matter.

Mobile phone of the accused student sent for investigation: SSP

According to Mohali SSP Vivek Soni, the mobile phone of the accused student will be sent for forensic examination. The accused student has told in the interrogation that she has not recorded the video of any other student.
