Alert Issued in Delhi as AAP Plans Protest Against Sisodia's Arrest at BJP Office at Noon

On Sunday i.e. Feb 27, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after a prolonged interrogation in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case.

Excise Minister Manish Sisodia will be produced in Rouse Avenue Court today after medical examination to be conducted by CBI.

At the same time, AAP will protest at the countrywide level in Delhi today against the arrest of Manish Sisodia.

Delhi Police has detained 50 individuals so far during the AAP's demonstrations subsequent to the arrest of Manish Sisodia.

AAP's nationwide protest

Aam Aadmi Party's national general secretary Sandeep Pathak said that we will hold a countrywide demonstration on Monday i.e Feb 27.

Sandeep Pathak tweeted that Manish Sisodia, the great Education Minister who has shaped the future of millions of children of the country, has been arrested in a fake case.

Aam Aadmi Party will protest against this across the country on Monday.

After the arrest of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday night, the atmosphere in Delhi has heated up. In view of this, an alert has been issued in Delhi.

A large number of security forces have been deployed around the CBI Headquarters. The Special Commissioner of Police has taken over the command of Delhi's security system.

The police station including the station heads have been ordered to remain alert.
