A major terrorist attack took place in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening. In this, 2 policemen were martyred and 12 others were injured. The condition of 2 of them is critical. Many terrorists have been eliminated. He claimed that terrorist masterminds sitting in Pakistan are engaged in disturbing Jammu and Kashmir. Dilbagh Singh said that the terrorists have become frustrated due to the ongoing action against the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and the army. This is the reason, they are doing such attacks out of desperation.

National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah also offered sympathy to the bereaved families while paying tribute to the martyred policemen. Terming the attack as tragic, Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti alleged that it "exposed the Centre's false statement of normalcy in Kashmir".
