Student Dies Due to Confusion Over Examination Centre

An SSLC student died after Collapsing in an examination center in T. Narsipur, Near here on Monday. Anushree, 16, was transported to the Government hospital after collapsing at Vidyodaya Educational Institution, where she was doing her exams. Doctors, however, proclaimed her dead.

Ramachandra Raje Urs, Deputy Director of Public Instruction in Mysuru, who came to T. Narsipur after receiving the news, said the cause of the death was still to be determined. The body was sent to Mysuru for a post-mortem examination.

Anushree was a citizen of Akkuru village and a student at Madapura's Government High School.

Anushree Mistook her Room at the Testing Center

According to authorities, the student mistook her room at the testing center and began taking the exam in a different room. The invigilator noticed the error a few minutes after she began writing the examination. "She had begun writing the exam in a separate room in the same center." "However, as soon as the error was discovered, she was escorted to the room according to her number," stated an official.

Teachers and staff rushed her to the hospital after she fainted in the center.

The girl has no medical history, according to officials from the Department of Health and Family Welfare. "The cause of death can only be determined once a post-mortem report is presented." "However, death can also occur as a result of shock," the official warned.
