Mehbooba Mufti’s letter to PM Modi related to T20 World Cup Matter

Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and President of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, this letter is related to T20 World Cup and Kashmiri students studying in Agra. News agency ANI has given this information on Saturday (30 October).

ANI's tweet states that Mehbooba Mufti has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi. However, in this, it has been demanded to do justice to the Kashmiri students who celebrated the victory of the neighbouring country after the T20 World Cup cricket match played between India and Pakistan.

Kashmiri students of Agra have been arrested on charges of sedition

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has said that three Kashmiri students of Agra have been arrested on charges of sedition. A case of sedition has been registered against him. The Prime Minister should intervene in this matter and get the three Kashmiri students released so that their future is not spoiled.

After India's defeat and Pakistan's victory, Pakistan's victory was celebrated in many parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir. A woman teacher lost her job in Jammu and Kashmir, while a sedition case was filed against Kashmiri students celebrating Pakistan's victory in Uttar Pradesh. However, the students against whom the case was registered were arrested by the police. However, this action of the Uttar Pradesh administration was criticized by Kashmiri organizations and political parties.
